Live it up in Paddington – your Bank Holiday Local Itinerary
Can’t face the crowds in Central London during this Bank Holiday weekend? Then experience Paddington like a local with our short but eventful itinerary.
9am - Have you boxed before?
Now it is time to do it! 12x3 boxing gym welcomes pay-as-you-go guests in their classes and with many trainers being former world champions you might learn a skill or two.
19 Sheldon Square, W2 6PY
11am - Cool down and go on a stroll around Little Venice, peaceful triangle formed at the junction of the Grand Union and Regent’s canals. Sit in the Rembrandt Gardens and watch swans and narrow boats to swim by.
1pm - Design your own bowl lunch at Lords of Poke in Paddington Central. This Hawaiian dish is basically sushi in a bowl with coconut brown rice and raw spicy tuna, Korean salmon ceviche or teriyaki-glazed tempeh.
2 Kingdom Street, W2 6BD
2pm - Cheeky, little dessert has not killed anybody! Mille Patisserie specialises in a French cake with light cream sandwiched between multiple crepes. Go for a bergamot-scented Earl Grey one.
8a Spring Street, W2 3RA
3pm - Spend afternoon in Hyde Park and ride a horse (this must be better than visiting The London Eye, right?). Book a session with Ross Nye Stables by Sussex Gardens.
8 Bathurst Mews, W2 2SB
7pm - The pizza at Heist Bank behind the Rolling Bridge is made from scratch and baked in a wood oven. Afterwards, enjoy a drink and game of pool.
4 North Wharf Rd, W2 1LA
